PBTS Holds First Music Camp

PBTS held its first Music Camp last April 13 to 15, 2022 on the seminary grounds. Thirty churches participated in the camp represented by one-hundred twenty-six delegates. The camp held the theme: “Jubilate: Beyond Music”. The theme explored the different ways that worship is goes beyond mere music.

Plenary speakers spoke on different areas of worship and music. Topics include: Dr. Nori D. Lacquian on “Theology of Worship: Work of God or Work of Man”; Mr. Jimmy Lacquian on the “Roles of the Worship Leader and Team”; Dr. Armand Canoy on “Worship Nga Ba O Assuming Lang?” Mr. Jeannard C. Ticong on “Introduction to Ethnodoxology”. The worship service speakers included: Mr. Fritz Gerald Melodi on “Forming our Desires: The Prophetic Dimension of Worship” and Dr. Czarina Lynne Sarmiento on “As Gold and Silver”.

Delegates also participated in different workshops. These workshops include: “Voice Principles” and “Composition” with Mr. Jeannard Ticong; “Music Theory and Musicianship” with Mr. Jimmy Lacquian and Ms. Joanna Mae Z. Melodi; “Live-Streaming and Technology” with Sean Corpuz and Dr. Michael Janapin.
